My take on the classic Starcraft II launch trailer. This redesign was initially a channel to utilise some recordings of my father’s woodshop and home appliances I captured over the year. My intent was to showcase careful textural balance and satisfying dynamics to maximise the immediate impact.
Original sound design for the launch trailer of the asymmetric horror game “Unsure” by GrimTech Creatives. We are currently in the process of developing the game and completing the audio assets and integration from Wwise into Unreal Engine 5. Kickstarter campaign will be announced soon.
Sound design and integration for the UE5 demo “Valley of the Ancient”, making use of Metasound and blueprints to create my own interpretation and achieve a cohesive cinematic feel. I used mainly used wavetable synthesis and manipulated metallic layers to give the giant an imposing feel.
“August Game Sound” is a selection of clips of sound redesign for various games and trailers made through August 2022. The work is focused on punchy action driven sequences, taking the POV of the player into heavy consideration to achieve a satisfying, impactful video.
”The Explorer: 3D Game Kit” is a Unity project. This was an exercise in integration from the Wwise Engine. Most of the sound elements are integrated with C# scripting or triggered through animations to achuieve a vivid yet grounded palette.
A selection of work made during summer 2022, mostly oriented towards short-form motion design. Some of the work was made directly in collaboration with the animators themselves, some was redesigned based on the work of visual artists that I enjoy.
